Jake's First Meal - July 18th, 2008
Jake ate his first meal of rice cereal! It had gotten to the point where the kid could not allow his mom or dad to eat without whining to be able to have some . . . and he started having a mysterious nightly wake-up call at 2am -- what's that all about!?!? We're hoping this means a return to sleep-filled nights, not to mention making a baby's tummy happy!

June 29, 2008 - Jacob's Dedication
We were so excited to formally dedicate Jacob to the Lord at our church - C3 Manhattan - on June 29th. Many of our friends and family came together to share the day with us and others sent their well wishes! After the church service we had a Yankee themed party for Jacob at our house. We even rented a tent for the backyard . . . and good thing we did . . . it rained soooo hard!! Here are a few pics . . . more pics and a video of the ceremony will be posted soon!!
June 14, 2008 - Brooklyn Outing with Oliver
Jake and Mommy went on an outing in Brooklyn with Aunt Kelly and Oliver. Oliver had gotten his new stroller that day . . . doesn't he look cool?! And let's talk about Jake's new shades. Listen, we're not trying to look cool here . . . we're just trying to help the kid to be able to open his eyes in the sunshine!!
